Arkansas Disability Eligibility

The Social Security Disability Insurance program is a “work insurance” program. It doesn’t pay you because you are disabled, rather it pays you when you are not able to work enough. “Enough” under the Social Security Disability rules is the ability to gross $1,010.00 each month (nearly full time at minimum wage). So if a health problem prevents you from earning $1,010 each month, you need to apply the disability insurance you have paid for all your life!
